As I wrote before, the last presentation had all kinds of technical issues. Dr. Steve Van Horn will be back this week talking about the same thing; the corrupted "health & wealth" gospels being preached in the USA and how it is affecting the world, specifically Africa where he ministers.

Mixing truth with error is the leaven Christ is talking about..it only takes a little of error, such as the false prosperity, healing, and name it claim it heresy of hell and damnation gospel. This is called literally THE WORD OF FAITH CHRISTIANITY..It is real, and it kills the soul of man and the spirit of grace. Bernie,,I am sure you are well past me in understanding so, please don't take me as trying to be a know it all,,I am just excited about what you and steve are doing..A real witness for the true Christ....Don't let anyone tell you when you are going to stop..
That's what satan is saying,,hey bernie,,it's time to stop...this is a lite to hit it hard..not 10%, dont' compromise to the nay sayers and ignorant..go at it 100% ...Satan is putting full artillery on the church. and winning them back to hell, if possible..and it is possible, just read the end time warnings: And there WILL BE , so we know it is happening,,a GREAT FALLING AWAY, and turning to doctines of demons..Our true people once true are being seduced to another gospel and testament, even shipwrecking their faith..

There is no greater call than to do what you are doing Bernie..no one else is...Please do not lose your heart in this matter..your persecution sadly will not come from the unbelieving but rather the so called church and they will despise you as Christ was despised in his day by the so called believing. Remember, if you are being persecuted and hated,,then chances are you are following the truth unless you are mormon or jehovah witness who deserve rebuke...You will be hated as I am hated..those words are everlasting...so keep it up..I will work with you if you want a volunteer..

I'm really saddened by this whole thing. At the same time, I'm glad somebody's saying something and isn't being a wimp like the rest of us. I include myself in that wimp category. I guess I did sign the petition, so I guess I did do something.
I agree with you. Money is a huge snare. It may be the biggest snare we have in this nation. The Lord rescued me from greed for things. I used to keep catalogs to buy things later that I couldn't afford at the time. When a new one came in, I'd look through it and see what I wanted; sometimes I'd spend money I didn't have (loans) on things I didn't need. Now, when I have to go to Wal-Mart, I look around and see a bunch of "things." All these things I used to covet are not necessary and have no function except to draw my eyes from Christ and steal His resources; and I don't even want to do that anymore. We try to impress people with what we have, with our high station in life, but we are really making ourselves low in the kingdom by taking our eyes off Jesus. Greed is truly idolatry. So sad. And when we're doing it, prior to Jesus teaching us the true way in our heart, we usually don't even realize what we're doing; there are so many rationalizations to make sin seem holy enough, or at least innocent and acceptable. There's a leper colony in India - lepers that could be healed, their suffering eased, with the proper medications. They are, most of them, Christians, tended also by Christians. And it's more important for us to have richly furnished homes. It makes me sad. We're supposed to take care of our brothers and sisters in the Lord.
I'm sad for all those who don't understand these things. They're really missing out.
It also saddens me that so many pastors and church leaders are so misguided. I guess that's what comes from the good Lord giving us free will. It will all be sorted out in the end. The wheat and the tares grow together. If only the tares would turn into wheat - some can, and some will, praise God.
God bless you, Bernie, for standing for truth. You've used Scripture to back up what you've said, and you've even changed your tactic along the way according to counsel that you considered. I pray the Lord continue to guide you.
